I would like to know more about 1 Tim 2 v 11-14 and 1 Cor 11 v 5-10 as I'm in discussion with someone about it who thinks that women shouldn't teach. Paul seems to give biblical, not cultural, reasons for his instructions - so why do we appear to ignore what he says? We wouldn't ignore other things he says. Anybody out there help me out with biblical mandate for women teaching and not wearing headcoverings?

"Why not Women" by Loren Cunningham & David Hamilton [ISBN 1-57658-183-7] is probably all anybody would need to feel confident that they now fully understand God's attitude toward women.
