After God delivered His people from slavery in Egypt, He met with them at Mount Sinai. It was here that the Mosaic Covenant was formed. They would be His people and He would be their God, a nation different to all others, a living demonstration of His holiness. It is the same today – the body of believers is to be the visible representation of God and his Kingdom on earth. And now, like then, this happens when we live in obedience to His Word.
